Seven50: Rewarding government for subsidies to All Aboard Florida

Here they award themselves for using stolen money, great job everyone we totally did it without the customer.

On page 19 they award for All Aboard Florida.  It shows millions of dollars spent to help create an opportunity for the crony railroad industry which is celebrated as privately financed in the media.

    Where are the complaints about the even larger ‘crony’ highway industry? I’d love to know the amount of money (sub-par or otherwise) that I-95 or I-5 contributes to pay back our ‘investments.’ Politically I am probably somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun, but this is the one area where the Libertarians, Republicans, Independent Conservatives and our various ‘think tanks’ have it completely wrong. Ever do a search for the source of funding for the Heritage Foundation? Cato? Virtually every cent came from oil, gas, asphalt and the auto industry. While I’d be the first to agree that there is NOTHING wrong with those industries or their pursuit of profit, it would make their ‘studies’ of everything rail seem a bit suspect if not downright
